| Objective:This study abides by the principle of evidence-based medicine and clinical-epidemiology/DME.Discuss the reliable effect of guishenwan-based decoction on perimenopause syndrome caused by the deficiency of kidney-yin.Search for the scientific theoretical Support for the further usage of Chinese decoction in perimenopause syndrome.Methods:60 patients diagnosed perimenopause syndrome with kidney-yin deficiency were divided into Guishenwan-based Decoction group(30cases treated with Guishenwan-based Decoction which include Danggui,Shudi,Shanyao,Shanzhuyu,Tusizi,Gouqi,Fulin,Duzhong,Sangshenzi,Jixueteng) and placebo control group(30cases,treated with Maiya) at random and were rewiewed for the improvement of clinical symptoms after the second course of treatment(1 months per course,totally 2 courses,continue the treatment during the menses).Results:After 2 months,the total effective rate of Guishenwan-based Decoction group is 86.67%,while the the total effective rate of the placebo control group is 33.33%.This shows that there are significant differences in the total effect between the two groups(P<0.05).And in the research it also shows that there are significant differences in the symptom scores not only between before and after the Guishenwan-based Decoction treatment group,but also between two groups after 2 courses of each treatment(P<0.05).In terms of the single score in each main symptom,such as hot flashes,perspiration,menstrual irregularity,soreness in the lumbar region and knees,the differences are significant between the two groups after respective treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion:By tonifing kidney and increasing essence,Guishenwan-based Decoction has an obvious effect on improving the symptom of hot flashes,perspiration,menstrual irregularity,as well as soreness in the lumbar region and knees.The research shows that there are some definite clinic effect in the treatment with Guishenwan-based Decoction,and among all the cases,no side-affecs are showed. |
