Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Presbycusis With Loss Of Kidney Essence Based On The Theory Of Deafness Caused By Essence Loss

Purpose:In this study,we observed and compared the changes of clinical symptoms of senile deafness patients with deficiency of kidney essence before and after treatment by different therapies,and explored the clinical efficacy of Yishen Huoxue Tongqiao therapy in the treatment of senile deafness with deficiency of kidney essence.Meanwhile,we also used pure tone audiometry,speech audiometry and tinnitus grading criteria.The parameters of SAS,SDS and HHIE-S were analyzed to understand the degree of tinnitus,anxiety and depression and the improvement of hearing.The purpose of this study is to explore the best way to treat senile deafness,and to provide new ideas for the future treatment of senile deafness with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine.Material and method:A prospective non-randomized controlled trial was conducted to divide 60 elderly deaf patients from October 2017 to December 2018 in the Otolaryngology Clinic of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine into two groups.One group was the treatment group and the other group was the control group,with 30 cases in both groups.The treatment group was treated with Yishen Huoxue Tongqiao Decoction combined with citicoline sodium tablets and ginado tablets,while the control group was treated with citicoline sodium tablets combined with ginado tablets.The symptoms and signs of all patients were recorded on the first day and the 28 th day of initial diagnosis.Pure tone threshold audiometry(pneumatic conduction),speech audiometry,tinnitus rating standard score,anxiety(SAS)self-rating scale score,depression(SDS)self-rating scale score and HHIE-S scale score were performed on the first day of initial diagnosis and after treatment.The results of Yishen Huoxue Tongqiao Decoction combined with citicoline sodium tablets and ginado tablets before and after oral treatment were compared with those of citicoline sodium tablets alone combined with ginado tablets.SPSS23.0 software package database was used for statistical analysis,P < 0.05 showed that the difference was statistically significant.Results:There was no significant difference between the two groups,including age,sex,condition and other observation indicators,suggesting comparability.The results showed that the total effective rate of the two groups had significant difference by t test(p < 0.05),suggesting that the total effective rate of Yishen Huoxue Tongqiao Decoction combined with citicoline sodium tablets and Jinnaduo tablets was higher than that of citicoline sodium tablets and Jinnaduo tablets alone.At the same time,the tinnitus rating standard score,speech recognition rate,SAS self-rating scale score,SDS self-rating scale score and HHIE-S score of the treatment group and the control group were improved relatively before and after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(p < 0.05).Conclusion:The method of tonifying kidney,activating blood circulation and removing Qiao has definite effect on tinnitus,decline of speech recognition rate and alleviation of anxiety and depression in senile deafness patients with deficiency of kidney essence.It is worth popularizing in clinical treatment.
