The Studies On Coumains From Peucedunum Harry-smithii Var. Subglabrum Shan Et Sheh

This thesis is focused on the chemical studies of the plants of Peucedanum harry-smithii var.subglabrum Shan et Sheh.In addition,a summary on chemical constituents and bioactivities of genus Peucedanum plants is presented.There are several plants of Peucedanum which have been used as the important traditional Chinese medicine "Qian-Hu" besides Peucedanum praeruptorum Dunn. Peucedanum harry-smithii var.subglabrum Shan et Sheh is one of these substitutes. But just few work of the chemical constitutes about Peucedanum harry-smithii var: subglabrum Shan et Sheh have been done.In order to evaluate the possibility of its using as "Qian-Hu" and find new bioactive principles,we investigate the chemical constitutes of Peucedanum harry-smithii var.subglabrum Shan et Sheh above systematically.The root of Peucedanum harry-smithii var.subglabrum Shan et Sheh was extracted by methanol and then partitioned by petrol ether,chloroform and ethyl acetate,respectively.Phytochemical studies on ethyl acetate fraction lead to the isolation and identification often compounds.Their structures are identified by spectroscopic methods such as MS,¹H-NMR and¹³C-NMR techniques.Then their chemical constituents are elucidated as psoralen,bargapten,xanthotoxin,marmesin, umbelliferone,scopoletin,(±)peuformosin,Pd-â… b,(±) selinidin,Pd-â…¡.All compounds except(±) selinidin,Pd-â…¡are isolated from this plant for the first time.The results of the systematic chemical studies on Peucedanum harry-smithii var. subglabrum Shan et Sheh show that Peuedanum harry-smithii var.subglabrum Shan et Sheh mainly contains angular-type dihydropyrano-coumarins as well as Peucedanum praeruptorum Dunn.From a chemical point of view,Peucedanum harry-smithii var.subglabrum Shan et Sheh,whose constituents are similar to Peucedanum praeruptorum Dunn.,may be used as"Qian-Hu".
