| Objective:(1) To investigate the relationship among plasma soluble CD105,matrix metalloproteinase-9,high sensitive C-reactive protein and the stability of Atherosclerotic Plaques in rabbits.(2) To investigate the relationship among plasma soluble CD105,matrix metalloproteinase-9and high sensitive C-reactive protein.Methods:Twenty-eight rabbits were randomly divided into two groups:The control group(n=8) which was fed with standard diet. The atherosis group(n=20) were induced by endothelial injures on the ventro-aorta with a balloon and was fed with high cholesterol diet(standard diets containing 1%cholestero).They were all fed for 12 weeks,to detect the concentration of CD105,matrix metalloproteinase 9 (MMP-9),high sensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) at different periods(Before, the 4th week, the 8th week, the 12th week). Then the atherosis group underwent pharmacological trigering with histamine. The changes of morphology were observed by naked eye,the plaque rupture group and the nonplaque rupture groups were divided according to whether plaque ruptured or not. Results:The serum level of CD105,MMP-9,hs-CRP in the atherosis group were markedly higher than in the control group(p<0.01).The serum level of CD105, MMP-9,hs-CRP in the plaque rupture group were markedly higher than in the nonplaque rupture group(p<0.01).The level of CD105,mmp-9 and hs-CRP of the 4th,8th and 12th weeks groups were increased progressively. The level of CD105 was increased with the levels of mmp-9 and hs-CRP.Conclusion:(1) The serum levels of soluble CD105,MMP-9 and HS-CRP were closely correlated with the stability of atherosclerotic plaque.(2)The serum level of soluble CD105 were closely correlated with the serum levels of MMP-9,hs-CRP(r= 0.900).The activity of inflammation and neovascularization may synergistically facilitate unstability of plaque. |
