Clinical Application For Rejuvenation Of Periorbital Chalasis

Objective: To explore plastic approach to periorbital chalasis of the middle and old-aged ,using a procedure for orbital region rejuvenation can result in a younger appearance of the orbital region.Method: The method was to select the incision of infrabrow and baggy lower eyelids,and then to excise unnecessary flabby skin,fat and orbicularis oculi. As a consequence,it was to rectify periorbital chalasis as a whole.Result: Twenty-six patients were operated on by upper and lower blepharoplasty. They were corrected about flabby eyelids after the surgery, their obital blepharal groove appeared again or was deeper, inborn lid crease lines were preserved, and their winkles of canthus were reduced at static state. Patient satisfaction was very high in terms of both the asethetic outcome and patient comfort.Conclusion: The plastic surgery can be performed completely at one time , and it can be an easy and satisfying alternative for who will not accept rhytidectomy.
