| Objective: To explore the effect of acupuncture treatment on chronic abacterial prostatitis.Methods: Separated chronic abacterial prostatitis patients fitting with selection requirement into two groups, and treated by acupuncture and oral administration of Hale. Observed various indexes, and made statistic process.Results: After treatment, total efficacy of therapy group was higher than control group. Evaluation of prostate tenderness displayed more significant improvement than control group, while score of prostate texture showed no significant change. NIH-CPSI score of symptoms displayed more significant improvement than control group, while integral quantization score for prostate liquid conventional examination showed no significant difference.Conclusion: Acupuncture treatment can relief symptoms, improve quality of patients' life, and is more effective on abacterial chronic prostatitis than oral administration of Hale. No server side effect occurs in all patients. Some cases had light reaction, but still can take treatment, It shows that acupuncture is safe, and comprehensive treatment especially habitual and mental treatment is still necessary. |
