The Clinical Observation Of The Effect Of ShuGanMingMu Pill On The Patients Of The Depression Of The Liver' Qi And The Insufficiency Of The Yin Of The Kidney Of Age-related Macular Degeneration(AMD) With Dry Type

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of ShuGanmingmu pill on the Patients of the Depression of the Liver' Qi and the Insufficiency of the Kidney of the Yin of Age-related Macular Degeneration(AMD) with Dry Type,and discuss the mechanism of ShuGanMingMu pill initially.Methods:All the 43 cases of AMD from the frist hospital affiliated toTradtional Chinese Medicine of Hunan college,were randomly divided into two groups:ShuGanMinmu pill group(n=30) and Vitamin group(n=33).The index of curative effect:Vision,Amsler,VEP and the multiple scores of manifestation of TCM.Results:1.Both groups had the function for treating AMD,There was significance between before and after treatment(p＜0.05).2.Compared the clinical effect,ShuGanMingMu pill group was superior to Vitamin group.Conclusion:ShuGanMingMu pill had a certain effect on the Depression of the Liver' Qi and the Insufficiency of the Kidney of the Yin of Age-related Macular Degeneration(AMD) with Dry Type.The mechanism may be that it had the function of regulating the pigmental epithelia of retina,improving the microcirculation of macular retina, strengthening cell'immunoregulation and supplying macular with nutrient and energy.
