Clinical Study On The Effect Of Pen Yan Yu Soup On Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (CPID) Damp-heat Syndrome

Objective: To explone the mechanism of Pen Yan Yu Soup on CPID,and put forward a confirmative treatment method according to this study results.Methods: 60 CPID patients were devided into the treatment group and the control group at random. The treatment group were mainly treated with Pen Yan Yu Soup, and the controls were treated with Fu Yan Jing Capsule,their main symptom integra of the treated group and the control group were observed before and after the treatment,hemorheology indexes (BV,PV,Ht,ESR) were detected before and after the treatment too. There were 30 other cases of healthy women as a healthy group. hemorheology indexes (BV,PV,Ht,ESR) were detected .Results: The results showed that compared with the healthy women,CPID patients's hemorheologiclevels (BV,PV,Ht,ESR)were much higher (P<0.01), Pen Yan Yu Soup and Fu Yan Jing Capsule could decrease their main symptom integra(P<0.01).Conclusions: The results showed that the total effective rate of the treatment group and control group was 96.7% and 73.3% respectively.The results of the treatment group were better than those of the controlgroup(P<0.01).Pen Yan Yu Soup could greatly decrease the index levels ofhemorheology, such as BV,PV,Ht,ESR(P<0.01),and the effect wassuperior to the control group (P<0.01).Therefore it is assumed that the therapy of Pen Yan Yu Soup might be agood approach in treating CPID, and the effect may be superior to Fu YanJing Capsule...
