The Clinical Effect Observation On Acupuncture Treatment For Improving The Chloasma Of The Adult Female And The Blood-stasis Constitution

Objective: By making a comparison of related effective index before and after treatment, also the relapse rate between two groups of patients with chloasma, to observe the therapeutic effect of acupuncture treating chloasma by guidance of Chinese constitution theory, and to evaluate the clinical feasibility of this new therapy as well as its utilization value.Methods: 60 patients with chloasma were divided into 2 groups randomly, with 30 patients in each group. The control group were given Vitamin C and Vitamin E caps, while the treatment group were given both the caps and acupuncture treatment which aimed at the constitution regulation. The synthesized effect after three-months treatment and relapse rate after half a year were observed. Results: 1. Symptoms were greatly improved after treatment both the two groups. 2. Total effective rate were compared and there is a statics difference between two groups, P<0.05, which illustrates that the treatment group is with better clinic effects than the control group.3. Relapse rate of treatment group is lower compared with the control group.Conclusion: Regulating the patients'blood-stasis constitution by acupuncture, with the aid of Vitamin C and Vitamin E, chloasma can be treated with both great clinic effect and low relapse rate. We also get a satisfying compliance. This therapy is with great clinical utilization value and can be used generally.
