Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Chloasma With Qi Stagnation And Blood Stasis By Umbilical Moxibustion Combined With Acupuncture

Objective: To observe and compare the clinical effect of umbilical moxibustion combined with acupuncture and simple acupuncture in treating chloasma with qi stagnation and blood stasis.Methods: The female patients with chloasma of qi stagnation and blood stasis were divided into 2 groups by random number table method,30 cases in treatment group and 30 cases in control group.The treatment group was treated with umbilical moxibustion combined with acupuncture twice a week;the control group was treated with simple acupuncture three times a week.both groups were treated for 8 weeks.The total score of chloasma lesion and TCM syndrome scale were recorded before and after treatment,the data were evaluated and analyzed,whether there was statistical difference between the two groups,and then the clinical effect of the two groups was evaluated.Results: After 8 weeks of treatment,the total score of chloasma and TCM syndrome scale were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05);At the end of the treatment,the comparison between the two groups showed that the scores of total score,decrease index and TCM syndrome scale were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference between the two group’s menstruation score of unmenopausal patients in TCM syndrome scale after treatment(P>0.05).Analysis of the overall curative effect of chloasma in the two groups,the total effective rate in the treatment group was 90.00%,and the total effective rate in the control group was 63.33%,which showed significant statistical difference(P<0.05);and analysis of the general situation of patients in TCM syndromes in the two groups,the total effective rate in the treatment group was 93.33%,and the total effective rate in the control group was 66.67%,which had significant difference(P<0.05).However,the curative effect of non-menopausal patients in TCM syndrome showed that the total effective rate of treatment group was 80.00% compared with that of control group 65.38%,and there was no significant difference between them(P>0.05).Conclusion: Cord moxibustion combined with acupuncture can effectively improve the skin lesions of patients with chloasma with qi stagnation and blood stasis,and can effectively improve the overall condition of patients.
