| [Objective] To investigate the association between the genetic polymorphism of GSTT1 and the susceptibility to different histological lung cancer and synergetic interaction between genetic polymorphisms and smoking on different histological lung cancer susceptibility..[Methods] A case-control study and PCR-PFLP techniques were used to identify GSTT1 genotype in 100 cases of lung cancer and 135 controls.[Results]1. In smokers with the GSTT1 (-) genotype significantly increased the risk for lung cancer(OR=3.286,95%CI=1.410-7.655,P=0.006).2. the patients with GSTT1(-) genotype,smoking strongly, significantly increased the risk for squamous lung cancer(95%CI=3.143-435.292, P=0.004) and smokers with GSTT1 (-) genotype significantly increased the risk for Lung squamous cell carcinoma (OR=7.651,95%CI=2.117-27.649,P=0.002) and Lung adenocarcinoma(OR=6.182,95% CI=1.187-32.184, P=0.030).[Conclusion] 1.There may be a synergetic interaction between smoking and GSTT1(-) genotype.2.those who are smokers with GSTT1(-) genotype was the m ore associated with the risk for lung squamous ce11 carcinoma and Lung adenocarcinoma... |
