Objective:Through a questionnaire for the sample population, screen-ing the KAP, which are Knowledge, Attitude and Practice situation, and analyzing its associated factors. The survey findings and results can help decision-makers establish and improve the defend-system of screening on cervical cancer, can supply valid info and policy foundation for directed prevention.Methods:Design questionnaire on the basis of uniform standards of inclusion. Sample 310 cases randomly in Department of gynecology and obstetrics of First Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University, during 1st, Feb to 31st, Mar,2010. Take the unified survey which includes the characteristics of general population sociological; knowledge about cervical cancer; attitude on cervical cancer screening; practice of cervical cancer screening and associated factors etc. Arrange and analysis the dates with SPSS13.0. Statistical method include descriptive statistics, t test, variance analysis, multiple linear regression etc.Results:1.The average age of 301 women is 34.62±8.01,260(88.4%) below 45; 251(83.4%) married; 261(90.9%) in city or town; 245(83%) senior high school education or above and 55.9%college education or above. The aver-age goal of knowledge about cervical cancer from the sample population is 71.10±8.497,71.0%believe it can be cured if find the cervical cancer as early as possible,82.7%think every woman should do cervical cancer screening regularly,34.4%know about the normal methods of it. And the average goal about etiology and clinical manifestations of cervical cancer is 64.49±9.36, the lower recognition rate are the relationship of HPV and the cervical-cancer (13.4%know about it), sex life or not during the HPV time(20.3%) and the main etiology of the cervical cancer(23.9%). The cognitive susceptibility rate of the low-income is only 5.8%. The goal of the attitudes on cervical cancer screening is 87.85±15.92,79.4% of them are going to do it. The goal of the practice of cervical cancer is 62.66±35.60, and 47.1%had done it before.2.Univariate analysis:the age has statistics significant for the effect of the attitude on cervical cancer screening (P< 0.05). The highest goal to the attitude is from 36-45 years old among them, the highest goal to the knowledge is from the married, the highest goal to the knowledge and the attitude is from the citizen, high-education, high-income, government worker and professional and technical worker.3.Multivariate analysis:to the knowledge on cervical cancer screening, the highest effect factor is knowledge; to the attitudes on cervical cancer screening, is the thought about "I do not need to do while the others have no cervical cancer screening"; to the practice of cervical cancer screening, the highest effect factor is attitude. So it is positive correlation, whatever the knowledge to the attitude, the knowledge to the practice, and the attitude to the practice (P<0.05).Conclusion:1.At present, women know well about the knowledge of cervical cancer screening, especially married, living in cities and towns, high-educational, high-income, professional and technical personnel or working in govern-ment; Propaganda of the knowledge should be enhanced which are etiology of cervical cancer, high-risk populations and usual screening methods.2.The attitude of women is positive on cervical cancer screening. The best attitude is from group who are age of 36—45 years old, living in cities and towns, high-educational, high-income, professional and technical personnel or working in government. The most affected of attitude on the screening is from practice of around population screening.3.Compared to knowledge and attitude of cervical cancer screening from women, the practice is not optimistic, it is signality to do propaganda of knowledge of cervical cancer and make them participate the screening actively especially for the unmarried women in sex life; The most affected of the practice is from their attitude on the cervical cancer screening.4.Knowledge, attitudes and practice of cervical cancer are all influen-cing each other.
