| To evaluate the value of transvaginal three-dimensional and color Doppler ultrasound in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS),and the relationship between partial clinical, endocrinal parameters and the ultrasound parameters.Methods25 PCOS patients and 15 women with normal menstruation were examined by transvaginal three-dimensional and color Doppler ultrasound to observe and test the ovarian volume, the follicle number, the ovarian stromal vascular parameters, like vascular index(VI),flow index (FI), vascularizational flow index(VFI), resistance index(RI) and pulsatility index (PI),and so on. All the people were tested for the endocrinal parameters and were recorded for the clinical information.ResultThere were statistical differences between the PCOS group and normal control group for all the parameters examined. In PCOS patients, there were statistical differences between the obese group and non-obese group for only the value of PI and RI.And in PCOS patients, the ovarian volume was positive related to the luteinizing hormone(LH),the ratio of luteinizing hormone(LH) and follicular stimulated hormone (FSH),the follicular number was positive related to the value of LH and the ovarian volume, the body mass index(BMI) was negative related to the value of PI and RI.ConclusionThe three-dimensional ultrasound and color Doppler ultrasound have play a certain role in the evaluation of PCOS. Partial ultrasound parameters have certain relationships with the endocrinal parameters. |
