| Objective1 To know the average exhaust time for patients after lumbar operation.2 To analysis the relationship of the exhaust time and abdominal distension in patients.3 To Compare the effects of the different exhaust time on patients after lumber operation.4 To analysis the health economics meaning of early postoperative recovery of gastrointestinal function after lumber operation.Methods1 Make the records of 275 cases which had an lumber operation in some three grade hospital in 2008. Make two groups of the patients:the exhaust time after lumber operation is less than 24 hours; the exhaust time after lumber operation is more than 24 hours. The relationship of the exhaust time and abdominal distension was studied by analysis andχ2 analysis. Analysis the effects of the exhaust time to the patients after lumber operation.2 Select 100 patients with lumbar spine surgery from August to December 2009 in some three grade hospital. With the patients'consent, giving the patients some water after the operation, make records of the patient's subjective feelings and laboratory tests. Analysis the effccts of drink some water before the exhaust function recovery on patients'gastrointestinal function and oral comfort.3 Summarized and analyzed the two groups of patients parenteral nutrition situation and the average length of stay to explore the health economics meaning of the early recovery of gastrointestinal function.Results1 The average exhaust time for patients is 38.10±21.36h after lumbar operation. 2 The differences of the incidence of patients with abdominal distension between 24h exhaust and the exhaust time is greater than 24h is statistically significant difference.3 The differences of the gastrointestinal function and oral comfort between the patients who drink some water before exhaust or not is statistically significant difference.4 The average times of parenteral nutrition after operation of the experimental group is 1.68±0.82 times, the control group is 2.05±0.78 times, the average length of stay of the experimental group is 13.58±3.42 days, the control group is 15.13±3.95 days. Conclusion1 The average exhaust time for patients after lumbar operation is more than 24 hours.2 The sooner the patients exhaust, the lower incidence of distension is.3 The patients who is fully awake and has a gurgling sound after lumbar surgery in general anesthesia can drink a small amount of water before the exhaust to promote the exhaust.4 The patients undergoing lumbar spine surgery in general anesthesia drinking water before the exhaust can promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function, improve oral comfort and reduce patient cost during hospitalization. |
