| Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of fine adjusting manipulation for the treatment of neck type cervical spondylosis in randomized controlled clinical trial.Methods:Eighty patients suffered from neck type cervical spondylosis disease were randomly divided into two groups, each group included 40 patients. The first group patients were treated with fine adjusting manipulation for two courses of treatment as experimental group,and the second group patients were treated with the traditional massage therapy for two courses of treatment as cortrol group,meanwhile.Then we scored the marker of therapeutic effect including symptoms and signs before and after the treatment. Finally,we analysed the data by statistical software of SPSS 13.0 and evaluated the efficacy of two different therapeutic methods,respectively.Results:The results showed that there was no significant difference in the scores of neck pain, local tenderness and local stiffness in the two groups(P>0.05) after the treatment,it means that the treatment method of fine adjusting manipulation has the same effect as traditional massage method and both methods were effective to cure the disease. But there was a notable difference between the two groups(P<0.05) when observing the ranges of flexion and extension,rotation.bend sideward.the qualities of work,sleep and life.It indicated that the efficacy of the fine adjusting manipulation to improve the situations described above was superior to the traditional massage. In brief, There was a significant difference in the total efficacy between the two groups(P<0.01) and the efficacy of fine adjusting manipulation was superior to traditional massage.Conclusion:Fine adjusting manipulation for treatment of neck type cervical spondylosis shows a significant improvement effect and the operation is handy,the treatment method in this studied could used for routine treatment in Clinical. |
