| [Objective] To evaluate the effect and complication of peripheral non—small—cell lung cancer(NSCLC) treated with hypofractionated three dimensional conformal radiation therapy(3DCRT).[Methods] Stage T1-3N0 peripheral NSCLC patients were treated with hypofractionation alone,60 Gy-64 Gy/10-16 fractions, in 12-22 days, with 3-dimensional conformal planning. Routine follow up included assessment for acute and late toxicity and radiological tumor response. Median follow up time was 30 months for the surviving patients. The outcome of these patients was analyzed.[Results] Thirteen patients with a median age of 67 years, T1=4,T2=7 and T3=2, were treated. The 1 and 2-year overall survival rate was 76.9% and 53.8%,respectively.The 1 and 2-year recurrence-free survival rate was 61.5% and 46.2%,respectively.The other important finding of this study is that toxicity was minimal.
