Study Of Amlodipine And Hydrochlorothiazide Were Combined With Olmesartan Medoxomil Therapy On The Patients With Primary Hypertension

Objective:To observe the efficacy of amlodipine and hydrochlorothiazide were combined with olmesartan medoxomil therapy in the treatment of patients with primary hypertension.Method:Sixty patients with stage(SBP≥160mmHg and/or DBP≥100mmHg) primary hypertension were assigned to amlodipine+olmesartan medoxomil combined therapy group and hydrochlorothiazide+olmesartan medoxomil combined therapy group respectively.30 patients in each group, before and after the 8 weeks treatment.The changes of 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, blood laboratory examination were observed before and after eight weeks the treatment.,and reversal rate of abnormal blood pressure circadian rhythm were calculated from ambulatory blood pressure recordings.At the same time,adverse drug reaction were observed during treatment.The hypertension criteria formulated by 1999 World Health Organization/International Society of Hypertension (WHO/ISH).Results:1.bloodpressure study(1)Olmesartan medoxomil+amlodipine combined therapy group and olmesartan medoxomil+hydrochlorothiazide combined therapy group were lower than that before, comparison, difference was statistically significant (P<0.05),in these areas,24hSBP,24hDBP,dSBP,dDBP,nSBP,nDBP. Before treatment compared, blood pressure no difference was statistically significant (P>0.05).(2)After 8 weeks therapy,The effective rates were 89.9% for olmesartan medoxomil+amlodipine group,were 86.6% for olmesartan medoxomil+ hydrochlorothiazide group, respectively. No difference was statistically significant (P>0.05).2. Olmesartan medoxomil+amlodipine combined therapy group were lower than that before, comparison, difference was statistically significant (P<0.05),in these areas,dSSD,dDSD,nSSD,nDSD.3. To compared the two groups,olmesartan medoxomil+amlodipine group can be better to improve the circadian rhythm of blood pressure(P<0.05).4.During the treatment,no serious side effects took place in the therapy in two groups. Conclusion:1.Olmesartan medoxomil+amlodipine is effective in the treatment of stageⅡ,Ⅲhypertension cases,two groups is similar to hypotension effects. 2.Olmesartan medoxomil+amlodipine can be better improve the circadian rhythm of blood pressure, lower the daytime and nighttime blood pressure variability and have the stable antihypertensive effect.
