Experimental Study On The Prevent-obesity Effect And Mechanism Of Xian Ti Jiang Zhi â…  Prescription On The Ovariectory Rats

Objective:In order to investigate the effects of Xian ti jiang zhi I Prescr-iption in proventing rats obeseing induced by ovari-ectory and explore the possible mechanism of proventing obesity induced by ovariectory.Methods:In this research, we used the method of ovariectory to establish the ovariectomized rats model.70 female SD rats,weighted about 270g, were divided randomly into 7 groups:sham-operated group(sham),simple ovariectomized group(OVX),and three test groups respectively with low,middle,and high dosage of Xian ti jiang zhi I prescription diethyllsti llbestrol group,trimetazidine group,tenrats each group. The administration of drugs started 10 days after operation and continued for 3 weeks.record the food intake every day and the weight of rats every week,observe their urine,defecate and activity.In the end,the blood,abdo samples were collec-ted to make the following tests:serumestradiol (E2), bloodlipids(TC,TG, HDL-C, LDL-C), leptin,wet weight of fat,fat form et, al. Results:1.Xian ti jiang zhi I prescription can signifycantly control the weight and food intake of the model rats,lower the weight of wet abdo-minal fat,reduce the lees indexes, increase the number of fat cells and reduce the size of the fat cells,can significantly prevent rats obesity induced by ovariectory.2. Xian ti jiang zhi I prescription can significantly lower the blood TG,TC,LDL-C; have the trend increasing HDL-C,while there was no significance.3. Xian ti jiang zhi I prescription can significa-ntly increase the level of blood Estrogen.4. Xian ti jiang zhi I prescription can not effect the level of blood leptin and the expression level of leptin in the hypothalamic.Conclusion:1. Xian ti jiang zhi I prescription can significantly control the weight and food intake of the model rats, pre-vent rats obesity ind uced by ovariectory;lower the blood lipids.2. Xian ti jiazhi I prescription can significantly increase the level of blood Estrogen.this may be one of its mechanisms to provent rats obesity induced by ovariectory.
