Clinical Observation On Curing The LIDP Patients In Acute Stage Through Pricking Blood With Cupping On WeiZhong Acupoint

ObjectivesTo observe the clinical therapeutic effect on curing the LIDP patients in acute stage through pricking blood with cupping on WeiZhong Acupoint, it has important and practical significance in exploring a new therapeutic method clinically which is safe, easily operated and definitely effected.MethodsA total of 60 LIDP patients in acute stage were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases each. The control group patients were treated with electro-acupuncture, while the treatment group patients were given pricking blood with cupping treatment on WeiZhong Acupoint additionally, five times a week, two weeks a course of treatment. JOA scale and VAS scale were observed before and after the treatment to evaluate the therapeutic effect.ResultThere was no statistics-difference between the two groups, including age, gender, pattern of syndrome, course of disease, score of VAS-scale and JOA-scale, all of them recorded before the treatment(P>0.05).1. After the therapy, the treatment group had a cured rate of 16.67%, a significant improved rate of 70%, and a total effective rate of 96.67%, and 5 cases were cured,16 cases were significant improved,8 cases were improved, 1 case had no effect. The control group had a cured rate of 6.67%, a significant improved rate of 46.67%, and a total effect rate of 90.00%, and 2 cases were cured,12 cases were significant improved,13 cases were improved,3 cases had no effect. The effect of two groups had significant difference.2. The evaluations of symptom, physical sign and viability in two groups were both improved, while the effect of the treatment group was much better than the control group.3. The VAS and JOA evaluation of two groups were both promoted, while the effect of the treatment group was much better than the control group in therapeutic effect.ConclusionThe method of pricking blood with cupping on WeiZhong Acupoint had positive effects on LIDP patients in acute stage. It improved the quality of life at the same time. Besides, the curative effect was superior to the control group.
