The Clinical Observation Of Curative Effect On Primary Dysmenorrheal With Coagulated Cold Blood Stasis By Catgut-Embedding Therapy

BackgroundPrimary Dysmenorrheal is one of the most common disease in department of gynecology. According to the data from a civil sampling survey, the rate of dysmenorrheal of women is 33.1%, of which about 53.3% is idiopathic, and 13.55% of them suffer bad influence to works. The treatments to Primary Dysmenorrheal of Chinese medicine are various and high efficient except persuasive clinical proofs. Western medicine focus on the relieving of pain as its principal which has a moderate effect but without permanent cure, hence it can not provide an application in clinical process widespread.ObjectivesThis study carries out an observation to the patients with Coagulated Cold Blood Stasis Primary Dysmenorrheal from cases of the gynaecological clinic of Guangdong Hospital of Chinese Medicine, makes a comment on the curative effect of Acupoint Catgut-Embedding Therapy on Coagulated Cold Blood Stasis Primary Dysmenorrheal, and discusses the influence to Hemorrheology caused by Acupoint Catgut-Embedding Therapy.MethodsThis study randomly selected 66 operative samples of data with Coagulated Cold Blood Stasis Primary Dysmenorrheal from cases of the gynaecological clinic of Guangdong Hospital of Chinese Medicine, divided them into two groups in comparison separately named curative group (the group treated by Acupoint Catgut-Embedding Therapy) and contrast group (the group treated with Lower Abdomen Removing Phlegm Tisane). The former group is treated by Acupoint Catgut-Embedding Therapy aiming at Qihai,Guanyuan,Sanyinjiao (both),3-7 days before the onset of menstrual flow, one time a month, and the whole process lasts about 3 menstrual cycle periods. The latter group takes Lower Abdomen Removing Phlegm Tisane one potion a day that cut into two times, and the whole process lasts about 3 menstrual cycle periods. Then, investigate the change of the degree of pain and Hemorrheology before and after treatment in two groups, make out clinical observation table。Results1. The pain of curative group and Contrast group are both relieved without obvious difference, and the pain is relieved more remarkable after 3 menstrual cycle periods than after 1 or 2 menstrual cycle periods.2. The rate of efficiency in curative group is 91.2% which is higher than the rate reads 90.6% of contrast group yet without statistic difference.3. The two methods of treatment are both efficient to light, moderate and severe patients almost equivalently without conspicuous difference.4. The two methods of treatment can both change the index of Hemorrheology which presents as the reduction of blood viscosity without clear difference.Conclusion1. Catgut-Embedding Therapy aiming at Qihai,Guanyuan,Sanyinjiao (both) is an efficient treatment to Coagulated Cold Blood Stasis Primary Dysmenorrheal, which is safer and lower cost.2. Catgut-Embedding Therapy and Lower Abdomen Removing Phlegm Tisane can both change the index of Hemorrheology, reduce blood viscosity.
