Objective:To investigate the differences between bone mineral density and its'related factors of 233 patients with the type 2 diabetes mellitus, Through determine and compare BMD of Uygur with Han nationalities. Methods:Choose 40-70 years old Uygur male, female, the han nationality male, female in patients with type 2 diabetes of endocrine department in 2009.09-2010.09. They are divided into four groups. There are Uygur male group, Uygur female group, han nationality male group, han nationality female group, lumbar of L1-L4 and left femur's Bone mineral density with four groups patients. They are determinated by Lexxos type dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry which produced by France DMX company(DEXA), and to be diagnosised osteoporosis. Statistics all the data as follows:â‘ o compare with the basic data of Uygur male group, Uygur female group, han nationality male group, han nationality female group.â‘¡Statistic bone mineral density determination of Uygur male group, Uygur female group, han nationality male group, han nationality female group and measure mean, standard deviation, and make t test.â‘¢atients with type 2 diabetes taking BMD correlation with age, course of disease, Body mass index, menopause age, glycosylated hemoglobin, HbAlc, fasing plasma insulin Fins, fasting serum C-peptide calcium, insulin sensitivity index, Homeostesis Model Assessment-Insulin secretion index, HMOA-ISI, phosphor-nium, magnesium, albumin, alka line phosphatase, blood urea nitrogen, creatinine etc. Result:â‘ There are not statistically significant that patients with T2DM, Uygur male group, Uygur female group, han nationality male group, han nationality female group between age, BMI, course of disease (P>0.05).â‘¡It was not statistically significant that glycosylated hemoglobin, HbAlc, fasing plasma insulin Fins, fasting serum C-peptide calcium, phosphonium, magnesium, albumin, alka line phosphatase, blood urea nitrogen, creatinine of Uygur patients compared with the han nationality patients of T2DM (P> 0.05).â‘¢It was not statistically significant that L1-L4 BMD of Uygur patients compared with the han nationality patients of T2DM are at the same age and course (P>0.05). It was statistically significant that L1 and L2 vertebral bone mineral density of Uygur male patients are higher than the han male nationality (P<0.05). It was not statistically significant that L1-L4 BMD of Uygur female patients compared with the han female nationality patients of T2DM (P>0.05). It was statistically significant that L1 vertebral bone mineral density of han female patients are higher than the Uygur female nationality (P<0.05). It was not statistically significant that BMD of left femur of Uygur patients compared with the han nationality patients of T2DM (P>0.05).â‘£it was significantly negative correlation femur BMD of patients with type 2 diabetes with age(r=-0.378, P=0.000), and with course negatively correlated (r=-0.196, P=0.013), and it was a positive correlation with body mass index (BMI) (r=0.259, P=0.003) insulin sensitivity index (r=0.194, P=0.012) Homeostesis Model Assessment-ISI (r=0.262, P=0.002), and with HbAlc negatively correlated (r=-0.24, P=0.007). It was no relation with fasing plasma insulin Fins, fasting serum C-peptide calcium, phosphonium, magnesium, albumin, alka line phosphatase, blood urea nitrogen, creatinine. Age as the control factor, female in type 2 diabetes is regardless of menopause age. Conclusions:â‘ It was not statistically significant that glycosylated hemoglobin, HbAlc, fasing plasma insulin Fins, fasting serum C-peptide calcium, phosphonium, magnesium, albumin, alka line phosphatase, blood urea nitrogen, creatinine of Uygur patients compared with the han nationality patients of T2DM (P>0.05).â‘¡It was not statistically significant that L1-L4 BMD of Uygur patients compared with the han nationality patients of T2DM are at the same age and course (P>0.05). It was statistically significant L1 and L2 vertebral bone mineral density of Uygur patients are higher than the han nationality (P<0.05). It was not statistically significant that L1-L4 BMD of Uygur female patients compare with the han female nationality patients of T2DM (P>0.05). It was statistically significant L1 vertebral bone mineral density of han female patients are higher than the Uygur female nationality (P<0.05).â‘¢It was significantly negative correlation femur BMD of patients with type 2 diabetes with age, and with course negatively correlated, and it was a positive correlation with body mass index (BMI), insulin sensitivity index, Homeostesis Model Assessment-ISI. and with HbAlc negatively correlated.
