Objective:To investigate the risk factors and clinical characteristics in menopausal and premenopausal women with coronary heart disease(CHD). Methods:To choose 219 women hospitalized patients with coronary heart disease in Tianjin Chest Hospital from January 2008 to December 2010, including 35 cases of premenopausal women with coronary heart disease as the research group and 184 cases of menopausal women with coronary heart disease as the contrast group. To retrospective analyze the risk factors and clinical characteristics in menopausal and premenopausal women with coronary heart disease. Results:Compared with the menopausal women of coronary heart disease, premenopausal women of coronary heart disease have low incidence of hypertension (P=0.018, P<0.05). By comparing the clinical biochemical indicators between the premenopausal CAD group and the menopausal CAD group, we can find there were statistics differences in serum total cholesterol, high density lipoprotein cholesterol, uric acid, serum triglycerides, fibrinogen, apolipoprotein A, prothrombin time (all P<0.05). Compared with the menopausal women of coronary heart disease, the premenopausal women with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) is more common (P<0.05). Coronary angiography showed that single vessel disease is more common in premenopausal CAD group comparing premenopausal CAD group (P<0.01). Logistic regression analysis to CHD group of premenopausal found that obese was an independent risk factor (P=0.037). Conclusions:For patients with CHD, obesity is another independent risk factor besides traditional risk factors. We should pay more attention to it.
