The overall level, classification level of knowledge and attitudes towards PMTCT of HIV all increased significantly after intervention (P<0.01) and compared with the control group (P<0.05). However, the HIV testing rates of reproductive age women are low levels of intervention(the HIV testing rates<33%), they did not change between intervention group and control group or after education (P>0.05).Conclusion:1.The level of reproductive age women on awareness of PMTCT of HIV in Changsha is average, while the level of attitudes towards PMTCT services is positive, the usage behavior is low level.2.Health education on PMTCT of HIV can increase women's knowledge level about AIDS significantly, attitudes towards PMTCT services can be changed by education, but the HIV testing rates were more difficult.
