| Infarction, also known as ischemic stroke, is in traditional Chinese medicine "stroke" category. According to statistics, China's annual number of deaths due to stroke was about 120 million, of which acute ischemic cerebrovascular disease cerebrovascular disease accounted for 43% -65%. The mortality reached 15% -25%, and about 5 million patients left disabled. Infarction has become a serious health hazard in the elderly common disease. For the sake of its incidence, morbidity, mortality and recurrence rate, the prevention and treatment of cerebral infarction appears extremely important .The current western medicine for the treatment of cerebral infarction has some advantages, but also shows a greater side effects. Of Chinese medicine, otherwise, the side effects are relatively small. Furthermore, a number of Traditional Chinese Medicines have better prevention and treatment of cerebral infarction. Objective: To observe the viscosity antithrombotic Tabletâ…¢'rehabilitation of neurologic function in cerebral infarction patients, the effects on serum MDA, SOD activity and plasma Hcy levels, and the mechanism of cerebral protection.Method: Based on the "types of cerebral vascular disease Diagnosis points " adopted in the Fourth National Cerebrovascular Disease Conference, 60 diagnosed as cerebral infarction cases in our hospital were randomly divided into treatment group (30)and control group(30). Both groups were treated with conventional western medicine, at the same time, the treatment group was given oral viscosity antithrombotic Tabletâ…¢(3 capsules each time, 3 times a day, 1 month course of treatment). Two groups 1 month before treatment and after treatment respectively were evaluated by Chinese Stroke Scale score (ie, CSS score), and serum concentrations of MDA, SOD levels and plasma Hcy levels. Results: Before treatment, there is no significant difference existed between two groups of clinical data. After treatment 1 month, in the treatment group, 2 cases were recovered, 15 cases were relieved markedly, 12 cases were a bit alleviated, and1 patient no effect, total effective rate (96.67%); in control group recovered was 1 case, 8 cases were markedly effective, progressive in 16 cases, ineffective 5 cases, total effective rate (83.33%).Both of two groups can decreased the CSS .Furthermore, CSS in treatment group was significantly lower than in control group(P<0.05). After treatment, SOD activity was significantly higher (P <0.05), and SOD activity in the treatment group was increased greater than in the control group (P <0.05 ). Also, after treatment, MDA was significantly lower (P<0.05), and MDA decreased more efficient in the treatment group than in the control group (P <0.05). In the two groups after treatment Hcy levels were significantly lower (P <0.05), but had no significant group differences (P>0.05).Conclusion: The combination of the conventional western medicine applications and antithrombotic Tabletâ…¢can be effective to promote the rehabilitation of neurologic function in patients with cerebral infarction. The effect mechanism perhaps has some connection with its inhibition of lipid peroxidation and the decrease of the Hcy. |
