Objective:Randomized controlled, single blind clinical trial method, the clinical observation of patients with acute exacerbation of bronchial asthma (cold heavy breathing type) serum leukotriene D4, clinical manifestations (mainly including wheezing, cough, sputum, chest tightness and pulmonary Asthma Ming-Sound), lung function (FEV1, FEV1/FVC) changes before and after treatment, to study Xiaoqinglong Tang on acute exacerbation of asthma patients serum levels of leukotriene D4 and the overall asthma clinical efficacy, thus of XQLD links on the impact of bronchial asthma, to conclude that XQLD mechanism of control asthma, in order to find effective control of airway inflammation in asthma provide the theoretical basis of Chinese medicine and clinical demonstration of Chinese medicine for asthma prevention provide new ideas.Material and Methods:Cases of this issue in strict accordance with the selection of inclusion and exclusion of acute attack of bronchial asthma,60 patients degree period, randomized controlled, single blind clinical trial design 1:1 design into group B (control group) and western medicine with traditional Chinese medicine group group (observation group). Of these,30 patients, average age of 45.80±12.32 years; course of 2 to 20 years, the average course of disease(14.60±4.38) years; for inhalation Ventolin Aerosol (each inhalation 100-200μg, or 1-2 spray, if necessary, inhaled once every 4-8 hours, but up to 24 hours should not exceed 8 spray), and joint aspiration seretide (50 ug /250 ug) (each a suction,2 times a day), etc. conventional treatment. Observation of 30 patients, average age of 46.30±13.78 years; course of 3 to 21 years, average duration (15.20±5.48) years; in the control group treatment program based on the use of Chinese medicine XQLD, before and after treatment were observed (a course of treatment) serum levels of leukotriene D4, clinical manifestations and changes in lung function, using mathematical methods of statistical analysis, before and after treatment in patients with bronchial asthma and related indicators of disease to assess and record the results. Serum levels of leukotriene D4 by ELISA or enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Results: (1) the two groups before treatment, serum levels of leukotriene D4 was no significant difference (P> 0.01), after treatment, serum levels of leukotriene D4, compared with the significant difference between the control group, serum levels of leukotriene D4 showed no significant difference (P> 0.01), but observed before and after treatment serum levels of leukotriene D4 there was a significant difference (P<0.01), in reducing serum levels of leukotriene D4 observation group than the control group; (2) the clinical efficacy of the two groups before and after treatment, syndromes, pulmonary function improvement, symptom scores and the main symptoms of the individual points was statistically significant difference between areas (P<0.05); the two groups in the clinical effect of treatment, evidence syndromes, improvement of lung function compared with no significant difference (P> 0.05), but the two groups in symptom scores after treatment and the main symptoms of the individual points were significantly different (P<0.05), the observation group than the control group.Conclusion:(1) after treatment in both groups the clinical effects of syndromes and to improve lung function improvements were achieved good effect, although the observation group was not significantly better than the control group, but in improving symptom scores, the main symptoms of the individual account comparison of points is better than the control group, this shows XQLD with asthma can improve clinical symptoms and lung function in the role of the main symptoms of asthma, particularly cough, wheezing, cough, chest tightness, wheezing sound improvement has certain advantages. (2) XQLD to reduce serum levels of leukotriene D4, we concluded that "little dragon soup" can interfere with the biosynthesis of leukotriene D4 leukotriene D4 or blocking the synthesis of its receptor, inhibiting the release of leukotrienes effort to reduce airway inflammation and expansion of the dual role of bronchial; (3) after treatment in both groups were no obvious adverse reactions and side effects and is effective, can be used in clinical practice.
