The Clinical Research Of Bushen Huatan Quyu Treatment On Insulin Resistance And Dyslipidaemia In Patients With Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

ObjectiveTo observe the therapeutic effects of Bushen Huatan Quyu treatment on insulin resistance and dyslipidaemia in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome. Provide a reference for clinical.Methods1 All the cases were coming from the clinic of Hubei Province Hospital of Chinese Medicine during the Jan.2008,to Mar.2010 which were diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome accompanied by insulin resistance. Grouped randomly, the treatment group was the proprietary Chinese medicine Bushen Huatan Quyu(19cases),while the control one was the western medicine metformin hydrochloride tablet (16cases).The difference between their data,such as age and the course of and state of the disease, have no significant analyzed statistically (P>0.05),which means they were comparable.2 Use method of the treatment group:From the fifth day of menstruation,take the Chinese medicine of Bushen Huatan Quyu which is used by my tutor. A pack a day,2times/day. Use method of the control group:From the fifth day of menstruation,take the Ge Hua zhi(metformin hydrochloride tablet)500mg,with the meal,1 times/day. Both groups were to stop taking during the menstrual day. Treatment for 6 months.3 Two groups were observed before and after the treatment,including menstrual cycle,BBT,the symptom,FSH,LH,T,FINS,FPG,CHOL,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C and BMI.4 Used Excel 2003 to Calculate all data which was entered into the computer Used the T test for Measurement data,the Ridit level test for ranked data.Results1 Comparison of clinical efficacy of two groups:treatment group contains 19 cases,the total effective rate:84.2%; 16 cases in the control group, the total effective rate:62.5%. there was a significant difference (P<0.05).2 Clinical symptoms of the two groups points:before treatment, the symptom score compared the two groups was not significant;after the treatment,every symptoms compared with the control group were statistically significant (P<0.05).3 Reproductive hormones of the two groups points:before treatment, the T,LH,FSH compared the two groups was not significant;after the treatment,T,LH gone done,compared with the control group were statistically significant(P<0.05).4 FINS,FPG of the two groups points:before treatment,the T,FINS,FPG compared the two groups was not significant;after the treatment,FINS gone done,there were statistically significant (P<0.05),compared with the control group were no significant analyzed statistically (P>0.05). 5 Lipid of the two groups points:before treatment,the CHOL,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C compared the two groups was not significant;after the treatment,CHOL,TG gone done while HDL-C increased there were statistically significant (P<0.01),compared with the control group were no significant analyzed statistically (P>0.05).6 BMI of the two groups points:before treatment,the BMI compared the two groups was not significant;after the treatment,BMI gone done,compared with the control group were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conelusion1 Bushen Huatan Quyu treatment can improve menstrual cycle and ovulation of patients with polycystic ovary syndrome.2 Bushen Huatan Quyu treatment can release the clinical simpton such as backache,dizziness,ringing in the ears,chill,et al.3 Bushen Huatan Quyu treatment can improve T,LH of patients with polycystic ovary syndrome,and the efficacy is better than metformin hydrochloride tablet.4 Bushen Huatan Quyu treatment can improve insulin resistance in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome.5 Bushen Huatan Quyu treatment can improve dyslipidaemia in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome.6 Bushen Huatan Quyu treatment can improve BMI in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome,and the efficacy is better thanmetformin hydrochloride tablet.
