Achievement test is an indispensable part in Teaching of Chinese as the second language. It is important for both teachers and learners to explore its backwash. However, the studies on achievement test of teaching of Chinese as the second language are quite few and teachers in this field are always lacking in guidance from relative theories when they prepare a test, which leads to low validity of the test itself. In recent years Chinese language has become a more and more popular language in the world, and it is necessary for us to think seriously about how to find a scientific and effective way in teaching to fulfill people's needs from different countries all over the world who are eager to learn Chinese.After introducing and explaining the theories of language teaching and testing, the paper will focus on analyzing the inter-mode between the teacher and the student in achievement test. Meanwhile, we select two classes of second-year students of Shanghai International Studies University as a sample and analyze their final achievement test, namely, final examination paper in four aspects, difficulty, discrimination, reliability and validity to find out the current situation as well as conduct the questionnaires of these students and their teachers to explore the problem. It proves that a scientific test can not only reflect the real capability of the students but also promote the language teaching evidently. As to how to design a reasonable test with relatively high reliability and validity, the author also gives some advice hoping to improve the current achievement test design in teaching of Chinese as the second language in the future.
