The study on language transfer can be traced back to the forties and fifties in the 20th Century, America. As a common phenomenon in the field of second language acquisition (SLA), language transfer has been paying extensive attentions on by SLA scholars. Most of the researches on language transfer are about second language (L2), positive transfer and negative transfer caused by first language (L1). Although researches on reverse transfer from L2 to L1 are rare, it is apparently that reverse transfer from L2 to L1 does exist. It is active in the learning of second language, and it acts especially more often among senior level learners of L2, here for English majors.Based on the language transfer theory and"retroactive facilitation"and"retroactive interference"(psychological terminologies), this thesis is trying to discuss the reverse transfer from L2 to L1 among English learners who have high proficiency in English; then the thesis comes to analyze on the phenomenon caused by reverse transfer,"Jiashenghanyu"; next is to analyze the case of"Tenfu's tea"; last, this thesis moves on to explore the loan words from English which makes up of"Jiashenghanyu", hoping to appeal to English learners to control the use of English loan words in Chinese, and to keep abreast of English level and Chinese proficiency. The above four points are analyzed based on the"Jiashenghanyu"material collected from oral language, from translation scripts, and on the street. Furthermore, based on these points, this thesis explains the reasons for causing"Jiashenghanyu", analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of"Jiashenghanyu", then gives suggestions to foreign language teaching (FLT), thus, to realize the developing rules of reverse transfer from L2 to L1, so as to promote the implement of foreign language teaching.
