Research On Pronunciation Of Wei County Dialect In Middle Area

Wei County lies in the most southern joint of Hebei province and He'nan province on the georgraphy of dialect,where belongs to the central plain Mandarin and Jin dialect.Wei County dialect can be respectively divided into Zheng-kai piece,the central plain Mandarin and Han-xin piece,Jin dialect. The research study of the text centers on Wei County dialect in middle area,which can be included by the central plain Mandarin, and it is ready to describe the phonetic system of Wei County dialect in middle area on the basis of field research,providing a comparatively comprehensive and meticulous description for Wei County dialect.Furthermore, the text investigates the history changes of phonetic characteristics and regular patterns for Wei County dialect by comparing with MC and modern phonetic system.The main research study contexts consist of three parts:the system of monosyllables, the changes of phonetic tones and the historical changes of speech sounds. Fourthly, the system for vowels still remains a separative pattern between the two rhymes of"che-zhe"(车遮)and "ge-ge"(歌戈),which belongs to the period of the central plain Mandarin. And it also keeps the phonetic system characteristics that the main vowels are antagonistic to "yuan"(圆)and "zhan"(展) in the two rhymes. Finally, in yin-ping24(阴平) tone,there is a development trend that is the promoting tone turns into zhong-ping33(中平),it is undergoing a change from the yin-ping characteristics of zheng-kai(郑开) piece, the central plain Mandarin to the local overwhelming dialect.The text is the first research study report on the phonetic system of Wei County dialect in middle area.Therefore, the text can provide full and accurate languages material and complement for deeply studying Wei county dialect as well as Hebei dialect;also provides certain reference to the study for comparing Chinese dialect and Mandarin phonetics,modern Chinese phonetic history.
