The Chinese dia]eels in our coutry is very precious culture resouces. These dialects have not only long histry but also richess, complexity and special Teaturos. But with the increasing develepment of culture and economy and frequent comunication of peaple in different dialect regions, especially the expansion of the common spoke Chinese, some characteristics of dialects are gradully changing or diminishing .Therefore , it' s important to study the dialcls in order to preserve and enrich thed ialect resource in China.This essay will dicuss the sound of Liangshan County in Shandong Province. This county lies in the southwest of Shandong Province. The dialect in the counection area of Tai' an, Jining, Heze of Shandong and Puyang of Henan Province belongs to Zhongyuan Official Language Region. But because the ruled region consists of the border regions of the neighbour county, the dialect of Liangshan County is very complex. By now the researchers of the dialect haven' t made a deep study of the sound phenomena of Liangshan dialect yet. There are only some fragment in some other professional works. So it is very important to write this treatise.The treatise ,takes North-west of Liangshan as data-drawing area, with the research method of synchronies descriptive method and diachronic comparative method, the treatise gives entirely and deeply describing and studying on Liangshan phonological system so as to induce its evolving regularity.This treatise is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is introductions. Introducing the geographical locations, the historical course and social conditions. Furthermore introducing the sound outline and the sound difference, Then presenting the condition of the major informent and the circumstance of investigating and recording. The aim is to make the reader grasp and undersdand the whole background of thee dialect of Liangshan.The second chapter is phonological system. In this chapter, we list theinitials,finals and the tone of Liangshan County' s dialect and illustrate the1 special phi nemo when necessary. Then it makes phonic combining chart, genera] illustrating the relationship of initials, finals and tones. And giving explanations on the syllabary of homophones is given to offer hasic, perceptual materials to learn the dialect of Liangshan. While listing, the author pays attention to pick out the more characterstic dialect words and the moaning of words , espciaJly pay attention to the difference of the sound and the different meaning from the Common Spoke Chinese and modern Chinese between young people and old people and one word has several sounds etc.The third chapter deals with mutation .pointing out various sound change phenomena existing in the dialect of Liangshan in the way of illusiration. They' rer-suffixation, tone-change, assinilation, variant ronunciation. etc. Through a large number of dialect examples, describing the sound change phenomena of the dialect of Liangshan in synchronic angle . espcial]y the auther descripes the tyeps of r-suffixation, analyse the conditions it produces and how it affects phonelogy from diffent angles.The fourth chapter deals with sound feature of the dialect of Liangshan through comparing with the commen spoke Chinese. And throug several respects of natural and convennient pronunciation, old sound keeping, phone!ogy influence,1the auther is going to find out revealing the cause and evolution law of the dialect of Liangshan.The fifth chapter deals with the source of the dialect of Liangshan. This part finds the corresponding relationship between the two things through ihoconparison of the dialect sound system of Liangshan and Guangrun sound system and then search for the dialect sound source and evolution track.This essay written on the basis of personally investigating and taking rc.'lalivly wide-spread proof.
