A Study Of Tancheng Country (Chongfang) Dialect

Tancheng county is in the southernest part of Shandong Province,whose dialect is bounded on the Central Plains Mandarin Language's Zhengcao part; Luoxu part; Jiaoliao Mandarin Language and Jianghuai Mandarin Language.Tancheng dialect is belong to northern Mandarin Language system. Lirong has made it belong to Zhengcao part of Zhongyuan Mandarin Language, and Qianzengyi divided it into Xilu part of Shandong western district. Because of its special envirement, Tancheng dialect has plenty of characters and produce a profound effect on the development of Chinese, and has aroused the attention of some scholars. But as far as the twelve dialect records which have been published recently ,the research about the Southwest of Lu(another name for Shandong Province)and the south of Lu is deficient. This thesis takes the dialect of Chongfang town where the author was born and lived as the object and describes the characters of Chongfang dialect from the aspect of pronunciation; vocabulary and grammar.
