Peer relationship plays an important role in affecting children's healthy personality. Generally speaking, peer relationship can be classified as popular, neglected, rejected, common and disputable, among which both rejected and neglected children are considered unpopular playmates. By the methods of peer-naming, teacher-evaluating and interviewing, the study explores the peer relationship characteristics of popular and unpopular playmates aging from six to eight, and adopts various training methods on social skills to reduce problematic behaviors and enhance social skills. What the results reveal goes as follows:1. After analyzing the results of peer-naming, teacher-evaluating and interviewing, based on the individual internal personalities and external behaviors (learning score, class performance, dealing with others and behavioral habits, etc.), the thesis generalizes the essential characteristics of popular and unpopular playmates in following aspects: 1.1 The essential characteristics of popular playmates: The main behaviors including: preferring study, carefully fulfilling the homework after class, doing well in study; concentrating on the study in class, actively responding to teachers; being ready to help others, usually cooperating and playing with peers; behaving well.The main characteristics including: warm-hearted, extroverted, lovely, innocent, intelligent, earnest and generous. 1.2 The essential characteristics of unpopular playmates:The main behaviors including: disliking study; doing poorly in study, failing to fulfill the homework successfully; being restless and...
