Peer relationships mean one kind of relationship between the ages of the same or similar children. It based on common activities and mutual cooperation. Peer relationships mainly refer to an interpersonal relationship between individuals who have the same age or same level of mental. The peer relationship is the most needed and most unique relationship for young children and is a new concept in the field of the children social development. Good peer relationships play an important role in children’s development and social adaptation.Children’s peer relationships are the product of many influences, which include the family, parents, teachers and children’s own. Among these factors, children’s social cognition is one of the important factors. In recent years, the psychological theory and perspective-taking have received widespread attentions of researchers, but the study of conceptions of social rules is still weak. Therefore, this study will explore the relationship between the conceptions of social rules of4-5years old children and peer relationships on the basis of foreign research and enrich the theories of social rulers and provide some advice for early education of children.This study explored the relationship between the conceptions of social rules of4-5years old children and peer relationships through the combination of experiment and peer nomination. This study randomly chooses80children form4-5years old in which half male and half female from Liaoning Normal University affiliated kindergarten. This study adopted experiment one by one. Each of the children has two parts of the test and score, one is the conceptions of social rules and one is the peer relationships. Then, children’s conceptions of social rules and peer relationships are analyzed by correlation analysis, regression analysis through SPSS software.The results show that:(1) There is the prominent positive correlation between the conceptions of social rules of4-5years old children and peer relationships. The score high in the conceptions of social rulers, the score high in peer relationships, vice versa.(2) The results of further regression analysis show that the conceptions of social rulers of4-5years old children can significantly predict their peer relationships.(3)4-5years old children’s conceptions of social rulers are not obviously difference in gender.(4)There are gender differences on children’s peer relationship. Giles’peer relationships are much higher than boys’.
