The Study Of Phonetic Comparison Between Taohong Town Dialect And Liuduzhai Dialect, Longhui County

The Chinese dialects of Longhui county could be separated into two parts: the south part which belongs to Xiang dialects and the north part which belongs to Gan dialects. Taohong town, located in the south of Longhui county, whose dialect is representative of Xiang dialects in the south part of the Longhui county.And Liuduzhai town, located in the north of the Longhui county, whose dialect is representative of Gan dialects in the north part of the Longhui county.Using the description method and the comparison method, the phonetic systems of the Taohong town dialect and the Liuduzhai dialect are described in detail in this paper. Also the phonetic features of the two dialects are compared and analysed in this paper.What have been done in this paper can provide language materials for academe to know and comprehend the Taohong town dialect and the Liuduzhai dialect,and can also supply references to deeply research the dialects of Hunan and to compare Xiang dialects with Gan dialects.There are five parts in this paper.The Geography, the population,the history, the situation of languages being used of Longhui county , Taohong town and Liuduzhai town, including the research state of the Chinese dialects of Longhui county and the research meaning of the paper, are introduced in the preface of this paper.The systems of initials, finals and tones, the literary reading and colloquial reading,the phonetic features ,the syllabary of homophones of the Taohong dialect and the Liuduzhai dialect are respectively introduced in the first chapter and the second chapter.In the third chapter, mainly from the points of the value and the phonetic features , by analysing and comparing the differences between the initials, finals and tones of the two dialects, the complex relationship among the initials, finals...
