| For quite a long period of time, research about Chinese dialect grammar has not been attached importance to as much as it should be. In the research about dialect grammar, syntax research has been paid more attention, for example, researches about the differences between word-building , word order and that of mandarin. However, there are fewer researches on "semanteme" and "language usage", especially researches on modal particles.In the paper, the modal words it discussed isn't the proper modal words, including three parts below: modal words(in general meaning ), modal adverbs, modal auxiliary words. The first chapter gives a brief description about the differences of these three kinds of words. The second, third, fourth chapters describes each of them one by one, and explain its anticipated functions on the grammar plane and language usage plane. The author also expresses his own opinion about adscription of some controversial words on the base of comparing some scholars' viewpoint. |
