The Study On The Disposal Sentences With The Preposition "yi" In "Zuozhuan"

The"Disposal Sentence"is a special syntax concept in Modern Chinese which shows the relation between giving and accepting. The origin of the"Disposal Sentence"is always a very important problem in the history of Chinese. About it many scholars have studied, but they hold different opinions. This article takes an important work in Xianqin Dynasty"Zuozhuan"as the object of study, because the content of this historical record is abundant, the materials in it are not only detailed but also accurate and it kept a lot of valuable language materials. Through observing and studying all the sentences with the preposition"yi"in"Zuozhuan", the author defines that among them there are 265 sentences which can be regarded as the early disposal sentences. The author studies these 265 disposal sentences which using the preposition"yi"in"Zuozhuan"by adopting the method of syntax structure and semantic analysis which are often used in Modern Chinese. Thus it will provide some convincing demonstrations for the research on the original problem of the"Disposal Sentence".This article discusses the problem of"Disposal Sentence"from the following 3 aspects.First, the author summarizes the research history and status quo of the"Disposal Sentence". Concerning the origin of the"Disposal Sentence", the key problem should be whether the scholars admit that the preposition"yi"can be used to express the disposal meaning or not. Someone think the disposal sentence with the preposition"yi"is the early expression form of the"Disposal Sentence". So there also existed disposal sentences in the ancient Chinese.
