The Acoustic Analysis Of The Vowels Of Mongolian Buriyad Vernacular

The buriyad vernacular is one of the three bargv - buriyad dialects of Mongolian. Researcher have made some studies on the vowels of this vernacular by means of traditional phonetics, but no one has made any study on Buriyad vernacular by means of the acoustis phonetics. This thesis applies the way of experimental phonetics to mongolian Buriyad vernacular. Based on the difference of Buriyad vernacular phonetic system, it makes a comparative study on basic vowel system, short vowels, long vowels, diphthongs and draws respective acoustic graph of vowel and graph of resonance peak model. Moreover it generalizes characteristic of the vowels and related laws of Buriyad vernacular from value of vowel and resonance peak model. The thesis adopt train of thought that it combines phonetics and speech engineering technology. And based on the phonetics theory, it be assisted by computerized technology processing of pronunciation. Eventually, the thsis made quantitative and comparative analysis of the Buriyad vowel system.
