Alasha-ejine vernacular is one of the six vernaculars of Inner Mongolia dialect of Mongolian language. Geographically, this vernacular is in the east end of Inner Mongolia dialect. The traditional phonetic research on it has been made but no acoustic analysis has been made. This thesis has made acoustic analyses of the experimental results of the initial and non-initial syllable short vowels, long vowels, diphthongs, fronted vowels as well as vowel harmony in Alasha vernacular. Based on the structural description, it generalizes the phonetic features of the Alasha vowel system with the particular pictures for diphthongs. The thesis is a contribution to the phonetic research of the vernacular and it is a complement to the whole research of the Inner Mongolia dialect.
