| Nowadays, the question of communication apprehension becomes increasingly important. It is a prevalent impairing and chronic condition, and it has been one of mental health condition that afflicts people achievement. Many researchers have devoted to this field. In china, the research relevant to it applied very later, until 1999, some researchers have begun to pay attention to the intervention of this problem. And most research just put emphasis on the intervention on college students, no relevant research on the senior middle school students.In this thesis, freshman in senior middle school from Nankang City,jiangxi province are used used to be subjects. Based on the theory of cognitive behavior therapy and of social leaning, the group-intervention methods mainly targeted on the whole student, and individual-consulting is second method only used to a few students. Conclusions of the paper are following:(1)The intervention has greatly reduced students'communication apprehension; On the self-report of communication apprehension scores are very significant difference between before experiment and after experiment. And more significant difference existed on the self-report of confidence scores. Test after 3 months keep the effect. Which imply that the intervention is effective to communication apprehension.(2)The results on MHT scale between experiment group and control group, and between before experiment and after experiment display significant effect. The intervention also improved the mental health of students.(3) In this study , communication apprehension is viewed as a group phenomenon. Based on the theory of cognitive behavior therapy and of social learning. The intervention method focused on the change of cognition and behavior training. It is practicable. |
