In this paper I mainly discuss the Visual communication in expo.As one of the most important content of cultural economy, MICE (Meeting, Incentive tour, Conference, Exhibition) industry has been paid much attention to develop worldwide. MICE industry got a rapid rise in China since 1990s. However, only a small number of the numeric domestic fair built up their brands. And even fewer brands are known internationally. The brand effect is the most valuable treasure in MICE industry. It's high time to bring up Chinese expo brands. The expo visual image design helps in the effective communication and the making of good brand image.In the author's option, cultural images, visual symbols and medium are seamlessly integrated as the expo visual image system: culture as the core, visual symbols as the center, and medium as the exterior forming. In the end, the author reach a conclusion that we need to innovate upon expo cultural theories, systematize the visual symbol system, variety forms of the medium, and develop new images of expo.
