Product Semantics is a kind of the subject that people use to apply for designing the industrial products with the help of sign logic. The Ethnography methods in the design are the focus in the modern design, which is also the source of the product research. And my article starts at the history of product semantics, ties in the analysis and design methods of product semantics with the Ethnography methods used in user research, so as to bring forward a new product semantic program integrated with user research and design group management. And I analysis the different views on the semantics in the research phase deeply and clearly, indicate the semantic points in the syntheses phase, express the background of the product semantics of the product shape, get the correct definition on it, use these semantic points in the design phase and get the information on the problem solving. I also show the deep real meaning in using product semantic and I hope it can help our product design. As the expression of the product design, the product semantic of the product shape is lingual functional signal system. Design semantics is shown on the product shape through shaping language and then people can understand it naturally. If people can correctly use the product semantics into product design, it can be suitable for the users' consciousness and operating habits, which can promote the humanity characteristics of the products and innovate the products constantly. Finally the design of the industrial products can be known by people easily and have thechance to take part in the international competition.
