Ideology And Individual Freedom

In Marx's theory of ideology, the ideology is independent of the external existence of individuals; is a set of concept system to maintain its political and economic interests of the ruling class. "False" and "overhead" is the essential attribute of ideology. Ideology critical theory of Western Marxist has it culture turning on the basis of the development of a culture of the times. The significance of which is :Ideology is not just class concept, but also a cultural concept, and it is with the daily life together. In this way, Marxist liberation of the people's aspirations and the class struggle will not only rely on external acts to achieve political and economic revolution, but It must go to the specific circumstances of the existence to critic culture. In the West, the concept of the ideological connotation of Marxism expanded to cultural studies but keep the "false" and "overhead"—the essential attribute of ideology which not only inherited but also innovate the Maxims .In this paper a new concept - the basic spirit of the individual to carry on with their ideology and still retained a "false" and "shadowing" the essential attribute, but its connotation is more cultural and daily. The theoretical and practical significance: people in the cultural globalization are completely become a cultural existence. The real plight of people is cultural difficulties. The personal freedom can only realize through their own sense of cultural criticism. State and other public organizations can not solve the fundamental issue of people's freedom. In contemporary China, individual should reflect the culture of Marxism, rational modern technology, and traditional Chinese culture deeply, because they will form the alienation of power in the structure of the personal life and psychology, and become his personal ideology. To realize individual freedom and individual harmonious life, we should emphasize on the criticism of individual ideology. The criticism of individual ideology can make the individual on its road to realize its freedom, so the reconstruction of the belief and building of a harmonious society will be a spectacular and fruitful cultural projects.
