| With the swift development of the network age and the faster step of the economic globalization, the protection of national and folk culture faced a very rigorous situation. For these intangible cultural heritages, we could appeal to people for protection and wave flags and shout battle cries. However, if we want to change its weaker status, we must bring her function into full play in the nowadays life. How to strengthen the protection and using of the national and folk culture, especially how to make them really "alive" in the network age? This question is worth us to think about it. Combine folk culture and modern Creative Industry is a new way for the transformation and development of folk culture in modern times. As a new cultural industry, computer game attracted many young men. Computer games contain plentiful source material of folk culture. This paper will use computer game Diablo as an example, on the base of folk literature theory, analyses the folk cultural elements and its using mode in the Diablo from the story mode, prototype, motif and symbol these four areas, in order to conclude the three principles of the folk cultural elements using in the computer game production. Then make some thinking for the new possibility of Chinese intangible culture heritage's application. |
