Based on the linguistic typology theory, this paper comprehensively investigated the grammar of Binyang dialect, summarized its typology features. and attempted to further explore the study method Chinese dialect. The purpose of this paper is as follows: breaking through the limitations of traditional Chinese dialect grammar study, introducing new theoretical framework for linguistic typology, put Pinghua dialect into the whole human language variation area, and discover its grammar phenomena of linguistic typology. Meanwhile, making efforts to explore the scientific method of Chinese dialects grammar research especially the south Chinese dialect, provides some useful advices and suggestions for the future comprehensive study.This paper covers seven chapters.Chapter 1 is introduction. This part generally introduced the research purpose, content and the source of data on this paper.Chapter 2 is about the background of this paper.The principal part is from chapter 3 to chapter 6. Based on the field survey corps, the author described and analyzed comprehensively the Binyang dialect grammar, and further discovered its grammatical typology features. In chapter 3, the author described Binyang dialect's word-formation. Such as, attributive-head structure, the diminutive form for nouns, the plural form of noun or pronoun, the verb reduplication and transitory aspect, adjective reduplication and lifelikeness for etc.Chapter 4 is about function words. The author described pronouns, classifiers adverbs, prepositions, postpositions, structural particles, aspect markers, conjunctions and the special kind of verbs, analyzed especially about classifier's syntactic function and the development of aspect marker in Binyang dialect.In chapter 5, the author analyzed and discussed the topicalization of accusative object, the modifier of accusative object, passiveness, the comparability structures, relativization, question sentences etc.in Binyang dialect.In chapter 6, by comparison with Mandarin Chinese nd Yue dialect, the author summarized the typology grammar characters that Binyang dialect, as the same as Yue dialect, is a more typical SVO -prominent language than Mandarin Chinese, and more features of preposition typology language. It is also a "strong Classifiers" dialect.Chapter 7 is conclusion. The chapter sum up the previous chapters, further discusses the practical and theoretical significance of using linguistic typology theory to study Pinghua grammar, attempt to pointed out a new direction for studying Pinghua grammar.
