Comment On Study Of Semantic Paradoxes

Semantic Paradoxes are not only one of the oldest puzzles in the history Logic,but also an issue in the field of Philosophy of Logic recently.It is of great significance to solve semantic Paradoxes to the development of logic or to the progress of linguistics,philosophy,computer science and aritificial intelligence.This Commentary about the semantic paradox research from several aspects as follows:Firstly, some basic questions about Paradox and semantic paradox. Including the paradox definition, the form characteristic, the paradox classification and the criterion for paradox solution ;The semantic paradox produces with the development and the different manifestation of liar paradox. Through to these aspects analyses, the liar paradox(including strengthened Liar paradox) and its solution are the main question to discuss.Secondly, introduces the representatively approach to paradox solution of overseas. Like "type theory approach to paradox solution","Tarski's classical approach to , paradox solution ",and "situation semantics approach to paradox solution "and so on; And from the differences of the paradox understanding, which divides these four aspects into the traditional and the modern approach to paradox solution; And has carried on the contrast analysis with it.Thirdly, enumerats domestically of some representatively the approach to paradox solution. Like HuangZhan-ji's,Zhang Tie-sheng's and so on; Regarding the majority schemes, the author has carried on the analysis and the appraisal from own point of view.The semantic paradox is the hot topic of the paradox research, But the research on the semantic paradox and the situation semantics aspects are the front question in overseas, which are insufficient in the domestic research. This article carries on systematically elaborating of these three aspects and makes own evaluation. The author carries on the limit from the semantic expression and in the logical true value to the liar sentence in the level - only have two levels; And pointed out "this sentence"refers is the null set, is insignificant, from the analysis of the liar sentence itself ,thus proposes own the approach to paradox solution.
