Based on the teaching events' features in the environment of net-assist English teaching, five rules of instruction design in net-assist English teaching environment are presented. According to those five rules and the comparison between two typical application modes of net-assist English teaching, a teaching design which focuses on English reading course for post-graduate students is made as an active way of applying net-assist English teaching. Finally, a teaching experiment on post-graduate students' English reading course is designed and carried out.
