With the informatization of higher education, information technology has greatly changed the environment and condition for higher education. It is just based on the circumstances that blended learning integrated face-to-face instruction and online teaching provides a new way and method in higher education teaching reforming.Photographic Technology is a basic course in educational technology field and is a integrated course characterized by practice. On the one hand, course will give prominence to use traditional photographic practice way. On the other hand, it will use merits of photo's evaluation in network teaching. Being able to make progress in technology, bring out the change of instructional contents, digital photography suddenly rises, teachers will be ask to adapt the change in curriculum by using new teaching model.Based blended learning model's meaning, the thesis constructs model for Photography Technology course, which blends the merits of tradition and network teaching in order to optimize learning effectiveness and economic benefit. In essence, the model is to blend self-access and collaborative leaning, structure and non-structure learning, learning source and learning environment.As a new model, it includes three parts: prepare, teach and exercise. In each parts, it use local and online operating ways. Local way—class instruction, is a fundament. Online way—network instruction, is a support. It also has online—local—online, online—local—local and local—local—online three extended ways. In particular, online instruction could optimize all elements for traditional class teaching and solve problems, such as teaching source, asynchronous communication and so on.The blended learning model pays attention to design, choose and implement for media. Depending on teaching content, instructional goal, learner and course's characteristics, the model designed instructional media, chose different media, use their attributes to make a combination for teaching process optimization.Using this model, teaching activity not only prompts instructional efficiency, but also develops student's learning literacy. The research gives a good paradigm in modern information technology integrated into teaching, and presents an important meaning for teaching reform in a deep direction.
