Hong Ying is an overseas Chinese writer, with a legendary life experiences. She has won many major literary awards abroad, but in mainland China she is also a highly controversial figure. Based on the novels of Hong Ying for study, using Feminist Theory and Criticism, this dissertation will interpret the text of Hong Ying's novels from four aspects: why to write, write for what, how to express and the multiple marginalization of Hong Ying.The dissertation has six parts:First, summarize Hong Ying's life experiences, literary status and influence.Second, systematically collect and compile the novels of Hong Ying, analyze her writing purpose and the significance of her novels.Third, from Feminism Theory, the practice of ecriture feminine, as well as the gender setting in Hong Ying's novels, such three areas, dialyze the female world in her novels and her feminism consciousness.Fourth, discuss the venting of female desire and the "breakthrough performance" of gender in Hong Ying's novels, and analyze Hong Ying's unique way to express life.Fifth, analyze the multiple marginal status of Hong Ying, and interpret the lonely feeling and marginalization of her creation.Sixth, summarize the while dissertation.
