Varied genres is the outcome of the development of chinese luteAccording to the historical recordings , the art of chinese lute has spontaneously formed two brances: the north and the south,with their unique styles , in the period of late Ming Dynasty and the very begining of Qing Dynasty.however,the north has lost its glistening lory,because of cruel competitions By contrast,the promising south brance prosperously developed in Jiangsu andZhejiang region.Moveover,it finally formed its own sub-brances in five regions : Wuxi,Chongmin,Pudong,pinghu,shanghai.Consequently,the five sub- brances has made favourable contributions toimpart the music scores and influence the coming development od chinese lute.this paper consists of four parts:The first section: the reason of prosperous developments of five sub- brances. the paper indicates the reasons based on five factors :geography economy, politics and culture.The second section: impartation of music scores and its styles.
