With the development of social musical culture, the art form of piano improvisation is getting more and more popular in the primary-middle school music teaching and musical art practices. At present, because of lacking perfect music score, most of the songs are published by numbered musical notation. Excellent piano improvisation not only could serve as a foil to the songs,but also can express the emotion incisively and vividly. Therefore, according to elementary and middle schools' actual situation, the piano improvisation style is used more liberal than the piano performance simply. And the style is more practical in reality.Because of the utilization and suitability, piano improvisation has become one of the required courses in the major of music education of the normal universities. And it is an important practical skill for the students after they graduated. It is also a very significant measure for music education popularization.This thesis selects ten primary and middle schools at Ji' ning district in Wulanchabu city as the survey samples and makes an analysis for the situation of piano improvisation by questionnaire survey method, content analysis, individual interview and etc.. It found that part of the music teachers are not fully understand this musical style and does not attach importance to this musical form. Moreover, the quality of piano improvisation is not very high in most schools. Some teachers even could not satisfy the social reality. According to the existing problems, the author puts forward some suggestions. Firstly, we should cultivate the piano improvisation accompanists the creative thinking ability, and let them grasp the basic piano skills and theoretical knowledge, the scientific harmony theoretical system and the practices of harmony theories skills, and the accompany tone type. Secondly, we should sum up abundant practical experiences, train the perfect music cultivation, and better psychological quality. Thirdly, we should hold periodical training for the teachers.Hope to improve the ability of piano improvisation of primary-middle school music teachers by these practical strategies and let all the normal universities pay more attentions to the piano improvisation art style. In addition, do some helpful jobs for cultivating the required people for education career of China.
